Jessica Lacroix

Jessica LaCroix joined Transcend Recovery Community with the opening of the first Houston, Texas women’s house in January of 2017, and serves as the homes very first Program Director! Jessica is an advocate for those suffering from the pain of addiction and mental illness, and draws upon her own journey of recovery to provide each client with thoughtful and caring guidance. She is committed to her service to others, and Transcend Recovery Community has become the place where she is able to do that daily. Jessica helps women dealing with addiction and substance abuse, as well as mental health issues, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and failure to launch. Jessica incorporates the three principles of Transcend, accountability, community, & spirituality, into the women’s program to make Transcend Houston a vibrant home for our clients. She is committed to support each client as they walk through the early stages of recovery, and works to help them implement these principles into their own life. Jessica’s favorite part of her job is that she has a direct hand in others recovery. She takes every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow, and consistently works to provide each client with the unique support they need to move forward in their life.

Hailing from Woodridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, Jess found her way to Texas at the beginning of 2016 and has loved the experience of immersing herself in her new home town. She is blessed with an incredible family who have always given their unconditional love and support, and in her spare time, she enjoys yoga, playing piano, reading, and is the family movie buff!
